John W. Roberts
Artist | Student | Film & Animation
United States
John W. Roberts is an inspiring artist with a drive to tell anyone a silly story about life. He knew he wanted to make cartoons from the time he was in diapers with Crayola Crayons. He grew up In Tallahassee, Florida where he received his Associates Degree in Graphic Design and Communications. He has worked for TCC’s Student Engagement Department as a Design Assistant and has published works in the TCC National Eyrie Magazine and the Renowned Gadsden Art Museum in Quincy, Florida. John Believes in helping others and giving back so he joined the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman ( Medic ) for a short term to show his gratitude towards his country. John’s military service and his diverse family up bringing tend to give his art a cultural blend of taste. Growing up he would watch all sorts of shows like Dragon Ball Z, Powerpuff Girls, and Hey Arnold. His favorite parts in making animation are character designs, storyboards, and props for background designs.
